As a wellness coach I thrive on walking alongside others on their journey of healing and freedom. I believe wellness is an experience of being loved back to life from the inside out.
My journey began about 9 years ago, following a broken engagement, broken heart, and broken identity. I found myself riddled with fear, anxiety, and shame. Much of what surfaced in my romantic relationship was magnifying unhealed wounds from my childhood. This rock bottom left me desperate enough to cry for help and needy enough to receive it.
Healing took me by surprise because it started with what felt like playful invitations to engage in friendship with the person of Love. My desperation became the doorway for me to let down my masks, my armor and self-sabotage patterns to finally receive the grace I needed to crawl towards true healing. These promptings felt like invitations to move towards joy through simple things like moving my body in dance, sipping a warm cup of coffee or tea, a walk in the mountains, or laying in the sun. How could I receive joy when I was riddled with so much pain? It felt contradictory, but somehow exploring what I loved and following these little whispers began to create a safe place for me to heal.
This environment of JOY enabled me to identify the roots of my trauma and destructive belief patterns that were keeping me trapped in cycles of pain rather than living in the freedom and love I am made for.
My own journey has taught me healing becomes sustainable when it’s rooted in the person of love.
Freedom requires true courage and childlike faith.
Hope is an experience, and the healing process can be an adventure of JOY and play.
